olivereast: Sorry to shill on tumblr (it’s really not what I want to use it for) but I hope you’ll understand why I’m mentioning this.  Like you, I’m broke.  The Thought Bubble con is coming up in November for which I have a table.  I do not, at the moment, have a hotel room.  I could of course travel back and forth from Manchester but that would mean missing the first ever British Comics Awards.  Also a fellow creator is coming over from Sweden and I want to show him a good time. I am also working towards enough decent material to self publish for the first time in four years.  I hope to produce a black and white mini before long. But, like I said…I’m stoney broke. So I’ve put one of my Elbow drawings up on eBay.  I did the art for the last two Elbow albums.  Something that I’m extremely proud of and I hate to have to sell these. Anyway, if this goes for its reserve, then I can get a hotel and make the most of my first and only con this year.  If it goes for much more than the reserve I’ll use the money to make a comic. This is a chance to own a piece of mine for cheap.  One of my recent drawings went for £450 at a local auction.  This’ll probably go for less. sorry for the shilling. Here’s the ebay link
